Dear colleges our summer student David Uhlig is leaving us tomorrow.
He will give his final presentation on 24.09.2010 14.00-15.00 at WBGB 021
Title: OPAL meets Provenance
Abstract: A short brush up is given what provenance is, and how it can help to track simulation results and reproduce them at any time.
(see also the first talk at: https://intranet.psi.ch/pub/XFEL/FelsiMeeting034/how-to-track-workflows_provenance-vistrails_david-uhlig.pdf)
The reasoning, why VisTrails was abandoned as the tool of choice will be given.
A live demonstration of the OPAL-Gui (with provenance) will be presented, using the example of Phase1 simulations.
Thanks for stopping by!
Best Andreas
