Dear colleagues Sichen Li will present her MSc thesis on

"A Numerical Model for the Computation of a Quantum Free Electron Laser"

Abstract: It summarises the theory and numerical simulation of 1D Free-Electron Laser (FEL) for classical low-gain, high-gain regime and

extends it into the quantum regime. The 2-level behavior of quantum FEL is shown and compared with Rabi oscillation in dipole approximation.
