Hello H5Part'ers and Visualizers, lets think of submitting a paper to: 2008 IEEE Pacific Visualization Symposium.

2008 IEEE Pacific Visualization Symposium
March 5-7
Kyoto, Japan
http://vis.cs.ucdavis.edu/PacificVis08
Sponsored by the IEEE Visualization and Graphics Technical Committee

Visualization has become an increasingly active area of research
due to its usefulness in a wide range of applications. PacificVis 2008 is
the first IEEE VGTC sponsored international visualization symposium
held in the Asian-Pacific region, with the objective to foster greater
exchange between visualisation researchers and practitioners, and,
in particular, to draw more researchers in the Asian-Pacific region to
enter this rapidly growing area of research. The former name of
PacificVis was APVIS (Asian-Pacific Symposium on Information
Visualization). This new venue has an expanded scope to include all
areas of visualization, and a sponsorship to allow us to achieve a more
wide-spread impact. Papers are solicited that present original and
unpublished research and practical applications in all areas of
visualization including, but not limited to:

GPU rendering and visualization
Graph drawing
Information visualization
Large data visualization
Parallel visualization
Scientific visualization
Usability and visualization systems
Visual analytics
Visual-based knowledge discovery
Visual data mining
Visualization algorithms
Visualization applications
Volume visualization and modeling

All papers accepted to PacificVis will appear in the symposium
proceedings published by IEEE VGTC. In addition, authors of those papers
of particularly outstanding quality will be invited to submit an extended
version of their papers to a special issue of IEEE Computer Graphics
and Applications.

Submissions for PacificVis 2008 must be made electronically through an
online submission website. Papers may be up to 8 paqes long and must be
formatted according to the VGTC guidelines given at:
http://www.cs.sfu.ca/~vis/Tasks/camera.html.
