Thanks to John & the h5part list for your responsiveness.
I did get sample files from Thomas Schietinger to use in the tutorial. Haven't yet had a chance to try out H5Part ROOT or Visit, but hope to before long.
H5Part is an excellent example of HDF5 in "community use" and a great case study for showing what HDF5 has to offer.

its good to hear from you. I don't have any datasets handy myself, but I think Andreas Adelmann or John Biddiscombe at PSI have some production data for you to look at. (just some small sets).
John B., do you have some data browsing tools for the H5Part data?
