Dear Linux Community

On the Puppet Server we updated the Puppet stdlib module and all dependent
modules, e.g. the Apache module. The stdlib module was updated last more than
4 years ago, so some hickups have to be expected.

The change has been discussed and tested in our Puppet community, still a few
issues only popped up after we merged it to the "preprod" branch:

- double package definitions with inconsistent options in two places (already
dealt with by Marc and Derek)
- Apache configuration failures for Ganglia and Jupyterhub servers

For the later I prepared a merge request
(https://git.psi.ch/linux-infra/puppet/-/merge_requests/918). That fix will
end up in "preprod" next Tuesday. If we go ahead with the usual procedure,
then the current "preprod" will be merged to "prod" next Tuesday and then
Puppet for Ganglia and Jupyterhub will fail for a week until the fix also
ends up in "prod". Please speak up if that is not OK for you and e.g. you
want to speed up and have the fix in "preprod" early or want to delay the
rollout.
