Dear OPAL user, this link

http://amas.web.psi.ch/download/OPAL/opal-1.1.9.tar.bz2

points to a  binary of the latest version of OPAL for Linux. Together with
the OPAL binary all needed libraries are included with appropriate wrappers.

We would be appreciated if you could follow the simple steps below and report if OPAL is starting,
together with the name of the distribution and if it is a 32 or 64 bit system.

Installation:

Assume you want to install in $DESTDIR:

$ cd $DESTDIR
$ tar xvjf opal-1.1.19.tar.bz2

To run opal, set

PATH=$DESTDIR/opal/1.1.19/bin:$PATH
mpirun -np 2 opal

Thanks Andreas & Achim
