You need for each design variable a SAMPLING line.

Hello,

I'm trying a random sample today, and have a question about multivariable samples.

Given the the code below, how do I say I want to sample over all DVARs?

Do I need to make a SAMPLING line for each variable (see bold lines)?

Will my current set up only sample over dv0?

-------------------------------------------------------

OPTION, ECHO=FALSE;
OPTION, INFO=TRUE;

dv0: DVAR, VARIABLE="P0",   LOWERBOUND=-10.0, UPPERBOUND=0.0;
dv1: DVAR, VARIABLE="P1",   LOWERBOUND=-10.0, UPPERBOUND=0.0;
dv2: DVAR, VARIABLE="G0",   LOWERBOUND=60.0,  UPPERBOUND=75.0;
dv3: DVAR, VARIABLE="G1",   LOWERBOUND=15.0,  UPPERBOUND=25.0;
dv4: DVAR, VARIABLE="K1",   LOWERBOUND=400.0, UPPERBOUND=550.0;
dv5: DVAR, VARIABLE="K2",   LOWERBOUND=180.0, UPPERBOUND=280.0;
dv6: DVAR, VARIABLE="LRAD", LOWERBOUND=0.001, UPPERBOUND=0.004;

SM1: SAMPLING, VARIABLE="dv0",    TYPE="UNIFORM", SEED=42, N = 10;

SAMPLE,
    RASTER          = false,
    DVARS           = {dv0, dv1, dv2, dv3, dv4, dv5, dv6},
    SAMPLINGS       = {SM1},
    INPUT           = "rand_sample.tmpl",
    OUTPUT          = "rand_sample",
    OUTDIR          = "results",
    TEMPLATEDIR     = "tmpl",
    FIELDMAPDIR     = "fieldmaps",
    NUM_MASTERS     = 1,
    NUM_COWORKERS   = 8;
QUIT;

Thanks,

Nicole
