Hi Nicole,

No, this is not our intention.

Should I be on the lookout for something, or can I change this default in my local yaml?
Sure, you can change the yaml file. We first check if the log.yaml file in opal/utilities exists. If this is the case, we take the settings of there.
Best, Matthias

@Matthias, recently the default behavior in pyOPALTools got me a little. I was calling some tools within another python package with logging. The default for pyOPALTools is to disable all other logging, so I was missing some error messages. Was this intentional? If yes, what behavior are you trying to prevent? Should I be on the lookout for something, or can I change this default in my local yaml?
Thanks!
Nicole
