Hi Simon,
this has nothing to do with your system: EBDUMP also writes a VTK file for field maps of type 3DDynamic (for visualization). This doesn't work (yet) if you place the field map in a subdirectory. I'll add an issue to our bug tracker.
Best regards,
Christof

Dear OPAL-Team,
Thanks again to Christof for the hint using "EBDUMP" to export the E-
and B-fields. It worked so far, but i stumbled upon an error message
concerning a fieldmap.
If I choose "EBDUMP = true", the error occurs if I put the fieldmap
"opal_fieldmap_chopper_eh.t7" in a subfolder (or even a superior folder
to folder that contains the input file). If it's on the same hierachy,
it works.
I've put the whole opal output and the error message in the attached txt
file if you're interested, but I guess it's an issue of my virtual
machine propably. In this particular example the EBDUMP option is not
really necessary for me, so this is no urgent issue at all.
The input and fieldmap file can be found in my Seafile folder:
https://seafile.rlp.net/d/1d6de6bbacdb4c92ab9d/
The error occurs when using my self-compiled OPAL 2.3 version and the
precompiled 2.2.1 version.
Best regards,
Simon
