Hi Constantin, if you read a distribution from file (http://amas.web.psi.ch/opal/Documentation/2.4/index.html#sec.distribution.fromfiledisttype)
 you can specify the emission time.

You can also use the feature MULTIGAUSS (http://amas.web.psi.ch/opal/Documentation/2.4/index.html#sec.distribution.multigausstype) however I am not sure if you can configure this 

such that the bunches are totally separated. 

Using these features you should be able to generate bunches.
