Hello Simon, in case your particle exits the domain where, the field is
defined by the map, OPAL will throw an exception.
I myself set the length on the element to the length of the field map,
no sure if we have a diagnostic that checks the consistency.

If I load an external fieldmap, e.g. for a solenoid.
Are the element options "APERTURE" and "LENGTH" affected by the dimensions of the fieldmap or vice versa?
E.g. the fieldmap extends from 0 to 0.1 and I say L=0.05.
Or: APERTURE="circle(0.02)" and the 2D-fieldmap goes from r=0 to 0.002
[All dimensions in meter]
