1. an OPAL installation, checkout for pre-built binaries at: https://gitlab.psi.ch/OPAL/src/-/wikis/home#user-content-download-documentation-help-presentations-papers

2. pyOPALTools installed, https://gitlab.psi.ch/OPAL/pyOPALTools/-/wikis/home

3. download the course material (OPAL Lecture 2023 -- Linac Modelling) from https://gitlab.psi.ch/OPAL/src/-/wikis/OPALPresentations#opal-lectures

Linear Accelerator Modeling i.e. OPAL-t. In the second part of the lecture I will do a hands-on
