Hello,
At BNL ATF we are trying to simulate beam emitted from photocathode gun then accelerating in 2856MHz SLAC type accelerator sections (traveling waveguide type according to OPAL specs) and moving down to beam transport line passing a few quads and bending magnets. We want to make it close to the real life and want to implement wakefield affecting the beam inside SLAC type accelerator sections, irises in accelerator sections doing visible head-tail effect which is observing on the screen after bending magnet when beam is having energy correlated chirp. I look through OPAL Examples presented on www.sirepo.com and can’t find any SDDS wakefield files to have it as example, I found one there in ELEGANT examples list (from SLAC, same type section structure. I attach it to this message) and tried to apply to OPAL but get the error message. Could you advise what SDDS file structure is needed for OPAL wakefield model? Greatly appreciate your help and time!
