Dear all,

I used the ascii2h5block tool included in OPAL 2022.01 to successfully convert
the 3D electric and magnetic field data. The command is just like what the
manual says:
'ascii2h5block efield.txt hfield.txt efouttool'. After using the BANDRF type
to input file, I used OPAL-cycl mode to track single particle firstly. It was
found that the
energy of the particle had no change, just like there was no electric field.
Using the DUMPEMFIELDS command to output the electric field, it was found that
the electric
field values at all points were indeed 0, but the data in the efouttool.h5part
file was intact. I have verified it with HDFView. What's the problem?

I am a freshman to use OPAL, and I hope someone can help me. Thank you very
much!

Best regards,

FlyingSky
