Dear ACSM-ACTRIS intercomparison participants,

Here are the last news/recommandations before the official start of the 
comparison study which is scheduled from Tuesday 12th of November (around 
0900).

You will find in copy :

+ A raw draft based on Roman's notes taken during the AMS-ACSM user meeting 
last September summarizing the strategy of this ACSM intercomparison. This is 
will refined later on.
+ The presentation that has been given about this intercomparison during the 
AMS user meeting.
+ Some extra (pdf) files about Dates/Venue/Accommodation/Transport in Paris. 
You can find a non-exhaustive list of hotels with different costs located in 
the vicinity of the SIRTA station but also closer to Paris !

It is not necessary to come the week before the calibrations (unless you 
would like to visit Paris :-) BUT ALL the instruments should be delivered at 
LSCE BEFORE the 12th of November. As we are located at a CEA secured site, 
the lab is closed on WE and nights. Means that ALL the instruments should be 
at LSCE the latest on friday 8th of November. The monday 11th of November is 
OFF in France but we should manage to get in Phil and John at the lab this 
specific day to unpack the instruments. But we cannot do the same for the 
other participants. Sorry.

We have discussed with ARI and identified things that you should not forget 
to do before sending your instrument. They are listed below:

+ Update your DAQ with the latest version available in the ARI ressources 
webpage (https://sites.google.com/site/ariacsm/).
+ Make a last calibration (with NO3) before sending the instrument.
+ Please save your NO3 Mass cal., NH4, SO4 RIE values
+ Don't forget to send your own dryer/pump (3LPM) and of course the laptop 
that goes with the ACSM.

We would need to know BEFORE monday 21st October -> please fill information 
in attached file
1) Who is finally coming (first name, family name, email, nationality) 
2) When each participant will be present at SIRTA-LSCE.

If you have another requests/suggestions, please contact Jean sciare for the 
next 2 weeks (email preferably).
