Hi John,

so far we only support field maps that use Enge coefficients for dipoles (section C.11). But 3D field maps are on my to do list for the next few months (though for Opal3D). 2D? I'll have to think about how to extend the field in vertical direction, rather not constant.

An OPAL-T question.  Can the 2D fieldmap described in section 'C.13 2DMagnetoStatic' be used as the midplane fieldmap of a dipole magnet?   And if the map orientation is XZ (horizontal/longitudinal) does OPAL-T assume the vertical magnetic field seen in the vertical direction (Y) is constant?
