with 1.6 the simulations runs smooth after a few modifictaions. I will send you in a separate email the input file. 

Firstly, with one particle you can not enable the space charge solver, that makes no sense. Second the element target was 

not defined, so I needed to remove them from the line. Both of these situations will be reported as error in 1.6. 

Again I hope to have the binaries up ASAP.

To mee it looks like you lost all particles and OPAL is not handling that properly.

Thank you for the information provided.
I am interested in the new version because I have observed a bug in the version 1.4. 
In opal-cycl, when the particles are lost in the simulation ( on stripper, collimator or out of cyclotron aperture) the simulation finished incorrectly with an error and the files. loss are not written.

OPAL> *** User error detected by function "ParallelCyclotronTracker::Tracker_MTS()"
OPAL> *** in line 77 of file "AMIT_Geom.in" at end of statement:
OPAL>     RUN,METHOD="CYCLOTRON-T",BEAM=BEAM1,FIELDSOLVER=FS2,DISTRIBUTION=DIST1;
OPAL>     No particles anymore, give up now!

I will appreciate any suggestion to solve this problem.

Hello Pedro at the moment we have not yet released 1.6 but we are close estimating within the next week

that the binaries are ready.
