    Dear Bettina, I can't reproduce the error with the input file you have sent Andreas. I get some parser errors: 
    
    If I remove that element, then also the number of particles seem smaller than the number of gridpoints. Is it the correct input file? Or which OPAL version do you use? best wishes, Jochem On 20/02/18 19:29, Kuske, Bettina

          Dear opal users, 
 the same error mentioned in my last mail, occurs when I try to use ‚emitted=TRUE’ command while reading in the distribution from file. When I skip the emitted command, the program runs, but shifts the input distribution to positive values.
                   Thus, I can neither read in a distribution at the cathode, nor emit it.... did anybody encounter this
                  problem yet?
