You could check in the output file if some losses by MAXZ and MINZ are produced with info level >=4 when you run opal. Furthermore, I suggest you to include the option ASCIIDUMP=TRUE in the inputfile to save the lossess in a ascii file.

At the start of the tracking you can looseparticles according to MINZ and MAXZ.
During tracking no particles are lost.

Dear OPAL developer,I am a researcher at the Institute of Modern Physics, Chinese Academy of sciences.I'm learning OPAL2.2.1 for cyclotron simulation these days, and this code is very helpful for my work.When I use the example about RingCyclotron in regression-tests-master for beam tracking,I found that there is no beam loss for minish the range between MAXZ AND MINZ in CYCLOTRON.When the particles are generated at the start point, MAXZ AND MINZ in CYCLOTRON can make beam loss,and after that, particles won't loss whatever MAXZ AND MINZ is.Best wishes!
