Ther *is* a configure script in the tarball - if you create the
tarball in the right way. The tarball *must* be created as I
described in a former email.

Same error on our Merlin cluster with mpich2. I will remove this
program from the Makefile and release a new development version
tomorrow. We can add it later again. It's a tool written by one
of our guys and they have to fix it...
