Hi, Andreas,
The converter and the Ascii files are per attached. The make file I used to compile the converter is copied from my felsim working directory, it is for H5Part lib but it should also work for h5hut lib after change some paths.
Best regards

Hi, Andreas,
In my simulation on cyclotron cavity multipacting, I just treat the direction of the height of the cavity as Z, and X axis is the symmetrical line of the cavity along angular direction. I don't know how does Jianjun model the cyclotron cavity in OPAL-cycl.
But as far as you know the way how OPAL-cycl treat the cavity field map, you can just modify the converter to read the ASCII field map and convert it into the right XYZ which fit the OPAL-cycl.
I have to find the converter somewhere in my laptop and I'll send it to you when I come back to home.

Chuan

Ok great!

However there is one thing, because in OPAL-t the y and z axis are  different than in OPAL-cycl where did
you take that into account?

In the converter frpm ANSIS to H5Block?

Hi, Andreas,
I have not implemented the BoundaryGeometry stuff in OPAL-cycl.

However, various 3D cavity field maps are ready for simulation, which are mainly based on the H5Block lib. The one I used to simulate the multipacting in cyclotron is the FM3DH5Block_nonescale.cpp! . Which basically use the order that data varies fastest in X and slowest in Z. And this field map does not scale using scale factor defined in RFCavity class.

I'll find the example of ASCII file and the converter I made using H5Block lib and send them to you if you need them.
