If I could chime in with my 2 cents, it might be nice to have an example of a
LINAC using traveling wave-accelerating cavities. AWA cavities are all
standing wave.

Yes normally we store the last time-step per default.

In case you have RF structures T7 files are one way of getting the fields
into OPAL. Please consult the Superfish manual on how to create these files.

No the pyOPALTools usually only take .stat and .h5 files. Please view the
stuff in the data directory as advanced I am sure you do not need to consider
them now.
